Peterborough Food Action Network
This site is created and maintained by the Peterborough Food Action Network (PFAN), a working group of the Peterborough Poverty Reduction Network. PFAN’s vision is that everyone in Peterborough City and County will have enough healthy food to eat as part of a long-term food security strategy. PFAN brings together agencies and individuals to build community food security as part of local poverty reduction efforts. All voices are important, and welcomed.
Dates: third Thursday every other month (starting each January).
Time: 1 – 2:30 p.m.
Location: Peterborough Public Health, Jackson Square, 185 King Street in the Dr. J. K. Edwards Board Room (3rd floor).
PFAN subgroups meet at the same time as general meetings, on alternating months (starting each February). Subgroup topics include community best practices, federal food issues, publicity/promotions, and municipal engagement.
